Claudia Yiu focuses her practice on commercial, capital markets and corporate finance transactions. She has extensive experience in ECM, public markets and listed companies transactions, primarily advising underwriters and issuers on IPOs and listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and advising listed companies on corporate transactions, merger and acquisitions, investment and financing, take-private / privatisation and compliance matters.

Claudia previously worked in the Listing Division of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for more than five years and has more than twenty years of legal experience in capital markets. With her experience in the Listing Division of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, she has represented listed companies, directors and liquidators and advised on technical and complex regulatory and compliance issues of listed companies, including restructuring, resumption proposals, company rescue, and investigations and enforcement actions by the Securities and Futures Commission and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Claudia obtained her LLM degree from the University of London and LLB degree from The University of Hong Kong. She is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales. She also passed the inaugural Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination in 2021 and is qualified to practise PRC law (civil and commercial legal matters) in nine Pearl River Delta municipalities of the Greater Bay Area.
