Mr Allan Lee

Allan Lee is currently the Vice President and the Head of Family Governance Center of Legacy Academy. He is a Master Family Legacy Planner who is responsible for family legacy consultancy and training services. He specialises in family governance and research on success factors of Japanese enterprises with longevity. He aims at establishing family business governance system for family enterprises. He is a legacy book writer and was the RTHK program host for the Program “Uprising Second Generations”.

Allan is the Research Associate at the Chinese Family Succession Research Center of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He is now the Part-time Teacher at the HKU SPACE, teaching Auditing and Assurance of the University of London Programme and the External Examiner for the Diploma of Vocational Education (Image Design) at the Vocational Training Council. He was a guest speaker for the Family Business Innovation and Succession of the EMBA Master Class of the City University of Hong Kong in 2022.

Allan holds a Master of Arts in Japanese Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Master of Science Degree in Training and Performance Management from the University of Leicester, a Postgraduate Certification of Lifelong Education at the University of Nottingham, a Professional Diploma on Family Enterprise Succession Management at the Cambridge Management Academy and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Accountancy from the City University of Hong Kong. He has also completed the International Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering at the International Compliance Association.

He is a member of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD), Fellow of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI), The Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA), The Chartered Governance Institute (CGI), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Association of Hong Kong Accountants (AHKA). He is also a member of Association of Women Accountants Hong Kong (AWAHK), CPA Australia, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He is the Certified Image Architect of the Association of Image Architects (AIAS), professional member of Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management (HKIHRM), and Hong Kong International Coaching Community (HKICC), and Registered Corporate Coach of the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) and the Certified ESG Planner of the Institute Chamber of Sustainable Development (ICSD).
