Eversheds Sutherland
Kenny Tam is an international technology lawyer at Eversheds Sutherland, a global law firm. He focuses on helping his clients structure and market their technology, payments, AI or Web3 solutions in the Asia-Pacific region.
His focus areas include payments transactions, tokenised product offerings, Web3 product offering, China internet and telecom matters (including VATS regime, content regulation, regulated blockchain services), artificial intelligence rollouts, travel law, outsourcing transactions (especially outsourcing in the FS and aviation space, BPO), general technology transactions (e.g. cloud solutions, SaaS, IaaS, on-prem software purchase and maintenance, hardware purchase), and data privacy and cybersecurity.
He also specialises in aviation technology transactions. He has a good understanding of the aviation distribution landscape, and has significant experience working on GDS / PSS transactions, including on the implementation of NDC / ONE Order.
He is now based in Hong Kong, but he covers all of Asia.
He is qualified as a lawyer in Hong Kong and New York, USA. He is also nominated as a recommended lawyer for FinTech / FinReg in Greater China (Legal 500 2024-2026) and TMT Hong Kong (Legal 500 2024-2026). He is noted for having “wide-ranging capabilities including blockchain and disruptive technologies”.
