Maxwell’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions of private and listed companies, corporate finance, capital restructuring as well as corporate governance and general compliance of listed companies.
Maxwell has solid experience in advising a number of listed companies on different types of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, secondary fundraising by way of placing, rights issue and issuance of convertible securities, general offer related matters, capital restructuring as well as advising listed companies on compliance with listing rules and securities law. Maxwell has been acting as the retainer lawyer of more than 20 listed companies, where he advises them on compliance of listing rules, securities law and corporate law on a day-to-day basis.
In addition, Maxwell also advises financial institutions on cross-border financing. Maxwell has also participated in initial public offerings on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited by advising issuers and sponsors.
