CGI HK Governance Structure
Initial Working Group
The preparatory work of Climate Governance Initiative Hong Kong Chapter (“CGI HK”) was undertaken by an initial Working Group. Honing the strong interest of facilitating and empowering climate governance by directors, this Working Group consisted of climate-action promoters who had previously been in touch with CGI, viz Mr Anthony Cheung, Mr Mohit Grover, Prof Veronique Lafon-Vinais, Ms Athena Ng, Ms Victoria Shapovalova, Dr Agnes K Y Tai, Ms Alison Tsoi, Mr Anthony Tsui, Dr Carlye Tsui and Mr Hui Feng Zhang.
Founding Partners
The Working Group further obtained support from four major oganisations that later became Founding Partners of CGI HK. The Hong Kong Institute of Directors (“HKIoD”) confirmed to be Host of CGI HK.
Advisory Council
Terms of reference:
The Advisory Council consists of renowned directors with significant influence and vast networks, who may support the aim of CGI HK by one or more of the following:-
- helping in developing CGI HK.
- providing strategic advice.
- helping with access to other high-profile directors and influential business leaders.
- acting as keynote speakers at events.

Steering Committee
Terms of reference:
The Steering Committee provides governance and direction to CGI HK. It is responsible for setting the strategy and meets regularly. Depending on the growth of the organisation and available resources, the Steering Committee may exercise the option to establish sub-committees for advancing particular projects and activities.
