Mr Victor Hughes
Victor spent most of his career with the Swire Group, based in Asia Pacific. He has been a director for 30 years, including Finance Director on the board of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd., and worked on the boards of operating and investment companies.
Victor was the first Executive Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. He has designed and presented courses on directorship for the Commonwealth Association for Corporate Governance and lectured worldwide.
He is still an active director. In 2004 he published a book entitled "Becoming a Director" as the foundation for a course ˇ§The Right Directionˇ¨. With Jo Rice , Victor, offers a range of courses on governance/directorship under the banner of ˇ§Experience teachesˇKˇKˇKˇKˇ¨
